Utah
Capitol Reef
The Capitol Reef stretches for hundreds of miles through Utah with its rock folds that leave deep crevasses in the earth. These groves capture water and guide it down on to the water shed basin. I walked through some of these crevasses with 300 hundred feet walls on either side. A small stream trikeled down the center of my path way and reminded me that it was spring time and to be wery of flash floods. Large holes were carved out of the sandstone where soft rock used to reside.
