Captiva / Key West Trip

Captiva, Florida

I spent four days on the island of Captiva. It was reported that it was the coldest weather they had had in some 30 years. My traveling partner and I spent almost the entire time inside reading and relaxing. We rented a condo with a living room, wide screen tv's, and a kitchen, so we cooked healthy food and took a break from the rat race of normal life. I was ready to do something after being stuck inside for several days and watching five movies.

I invited a friend to come down for a day or so. On the last day when she joined us, the weather showed some improvement and I was able to take the sunset images below.
