Magnetic Spoon Rack

The magnetic spoon holder above was designed to look like a piece of wood. It is in fact a piece of metal hidden behind a piece of wood.

Two long stripes of wood, one oak and one African Lace wood sandwich a long strip of metal. There are three layers, oak the back layer, metal with oak strips above and beneith it, and then the top layer which is the lace wood.

The hangers were designed to sit on the stainless steel range hood. They are made from Bubinga and small wedged pieces of oak. It is these oak pieces that hang over the lip on the range hood.

Each of the spoons has a magnet emedded into the handle which is how the spoons attach to the magnetic spoon holder.
